On the morning of April 24, 2024, the electrical construction team from Nhon Trach 3&4 Project, under LILAMA 10 Joint Stock Company, successfully installed the generator rotor at Nhon Trach 4 Power Plant located in Ong Keo Industrial Zone, Nhon Trach District, Dong Nai Province.

Mr. Dinh An Thuyen, the Site Manager of the Electrical Construction Team at Nhon Trach 3&4 Project under LILAMA 10 Joint Stock Company, stated that the power generator at Nhon Trach 4 Power Plant, supplied by OEM GE with model W88 and origin from Poland, has a capacity of 892 MVA and weighs 453,6 tons. The generator measures 11,89 meters in length, 4,86 meters in width, and 4,92 meters in height. It was successfully installed on December 28, 2023, through the collaborative efforts of Vietnam Machinery Installation Corporation Joint Stock Company (LILAMA) and LILAMA 10 Joint Stock Company, in coordination with the Investor. The generator rotor installed today has a capacity of 750 MW, weighs 91,6 tons, and measures 16,66 meters in length.

This is one of the important milestones to ensure the Commercial Operation Date (COD) of Nhon Trach 4 Power Plant in the second quarter of 2025.

The Nhon Trach 3 and 4 Power Plant project in Nhon Trach district, Dong Nai province, is a significant national project with a capacity of 1,500 MW and a total investment of 1.4 billion USD. When operational, it is expected to add approximately 9 billion kWh of electricity per year to the national grid. The plant is part of the Electricity Plan VII assigned by the government to PetroVietnam Power Corporation (PV Power) as the investor, with Samsung C&T Corporation and Vietnam Machinery Installation Corporation Joint Stock Company as two units in the consortium of main contractors. LILAMA 10, as a member of Vietnam Machinery Installation Corporation Joint Stock Company, is responsible for installation work across various locations at the project site.
